Coming from Melbourne in Australia is the fantastic Magdalia, and the other day saw her release her dreamy new single, "Hold It Up". The single is a collaboration with the amazing vocalist Mayzie Chew who joins Magdalia in the choruses, and this addition honestly takes the track from a solid dream-pop track to one that can soar above the planes and birds in the sky.
There is no doubt in my mind that "Hold It Up" is nothing short of stunning.
The swooshing synths remind me of Groove Armada's "At The River" in the beginning before taking a turn for a more acoustic approach. The guitar work here is simple but very effective, and when the chorus comes in I feel that the track is enhanced and you're listening in ultra 4K.
