milkshed. reveal their nostalgic new track, "Mud"

Coming out of the scene in Devon is a rising new trio, milkshed., and they've recently revealed their nostalgic new track, "Mud". The track is just their third since they started dropping their music just last year, but don't let that put you off as this new cut sounds like they've toured all over the UK already.

... it sounds like a proper alt-rock anthem that has the capability to generate moshpits at Reading & Leeds Festival.

Tumbling drum beats fill up the air at the beginning of the song, and with the addition of chunky bass and chopping guitars shortly following it's already built up your expectations. The expectations are certainly met once the vocals come in as it sounds like a proper alt-rock anthem that has the capability to generate moshpits at Reading & Leeds Festival.

The slightly angular sound and post-punk-revival sounds bring me back to the mid-2000s indie scene in the UK, and those late nights sifting through last.fm recommendations and stumbling upon gems like this. I tell you what, do me a favour and just listen to the song, thank me later!
