Small Black Arrows return with their new single, "The British Museum"

After a three-year break from releasing music Small Black Arrows have returned with their new single, "The British Museum".

Speaking about the track the band says " ... 'The British Museum' is a quirky song, a foil to all the samey paint-by-numbers songs filling the charts. Lyrically it’s a state of the nation type song about how we’re being mugged off by our government and in truth have been conditioned to accept it since the Empire."

So atmospheric with plenty of catchy hooks!

Based out of Wales and Manchester the band has some sensational vocals opening up the track, backed up with a folk-driven guitar tone. As the track progresses there are more delicious instruments added, and it's when the reverb-laden guitar comes in the atmosphere feels like you're in a hazy world of fuzz.

The vocals are amazing once the song gets going with more effects added and even come backing vocals adding more depth. I'm starting to sound like I'm a food critic, but as the track goes on it just ends up sounding pretty delicious.

With the band taking inspiration from a wide variety of genres its no surprise that the track sounds as cohesive as it does, so please do go on and give the track a spin!
