California's Gregory Ackerman just a few days ago shared his newest track, "When It's Through", which acts as the closing song for his latest EP, "Brand New Life". Released on the same day this track takes you through a journey of Gregory's sounds as you can hear everything he does so damn well.

Vocally it's more of the same retro-tinted vocal tones that are perfectly balanced off with the charming acoustic guitar scratches and twanging. The percussion is rather folk-driven but once again keeps the sound rather humble and raw at times.
The chorus is soaring and showcases that Gregory is so well suited for the more relaxed approach to the genre, some call it slacker-rock but I feel that this is more of a dreamier take on soft-rock with a hint of nostalgia thrown in for good measure.
Gregory Ackerman has grown to such a level now that I can easily see a tour happening outside of the USA, especially with close to a million streams (and counting). Just remember the name!
