Wotts unveil their strong new tune, "Laundry"

If you've been reading the site for at least two years you'd already know that we're big fans of this amazing Canadian duo, and today we've got the new track from Wotts, "Laundry".

It's one heck of a ride and if you love your nostalgia-filled tracks then Wotts have everything you need in abundance.

The outfit is slowly but surely becoming a cornerstone of the scene out in Ottawa and this new jangly slice of indie-rock feels like it's been picked up from the music scene in Manchester in the mid-80s.

The big whiff of nostalgia here is hard not to miss with even the vocals feeling perfectly hazed to help generate maximum atmosphere. The track has plenty of organic sounds going for it, with down-to-earth drums and tambourine mixed with some out-of-this-world synths that ebb and flow like a rushing river in the rainy season.

It's one heck of a ride and if you love your nostalgia-filled tracks then Wotts have everything you need in abundance. Just do yourself a favour and spend three minutes of your life and enjoy one fo your new favourite bands.
