Back with their first slice of music since their debut LP is Guild Theory with the new single, "Indignant Swines". The British band is not standing still on this one as you might be able to hear from the start of the track, it's atmospheric and captivating with the moody guitar tone doing wonders. Shortly after those vocals come in and the track takes on a darker feel.
Dark and with lots of post-rock sounds swirling around it.
I feel like this track is the perfect blend of those deep sounds that Interpol was known for in the mid-2000s mixed with the more experimental sounds that Radiohead have become synonymous with.
Vocally this is a track that can easily soundtrack a thriller movie rather well too, it's got that certain gravitas about it. The single is also backed up with a proper B-side track - something rather rare these days - "Flee", it's not the nearly six-minute epic like the A-side but is more of a two-minute addition if you will filled with ambient noises.
