Salt Lake City-based singer-songwriter Alli Brown has recently revealed her brand new tune, "My Own Superhero". The new offering comes hot off the heels of "Summer Storm", and with previous hype still buzzing around the new release has already got over 5k streams in just over a week.
Strong vocals mixed with hints of pop-punk.
"My Own Superhero" comes into your ears with serenity and delicate vocal tones, the smooth and angelic voice from Alli latched me from the get-go, combine that with the acoustic guitar and you've got one massive hook to latch new listeners into the song with.
Once the drums come in the track really comes to life, and the somewhat punk-pop nature of the track shines through with that oh so addictive bassline. Be sure to listen intently as there are some nice additions of synths giving me a big throwback to The Killers early work.
The song is lifted from her forthcoming debut album - release date to be confirmed - but if the album is even half as good as this tune we feel like Alli Brown will be known all over the USA not just in Salt Lake City.
