Fringe Frontier today has shared his incredibly dreamy and nostalgic single, "Wirehouse". The new cut is his fourth of the year and comes in a long lines of hazy guitar-driven tunes. The band comprises songwriter, guitarist, and bassist John Lloyd in addition to drummer Jerry Thomas, but when listening to this it sounds like a full-on quartet at the very least.
plenty of serotonin-fueled sounds
Vocally his approach reminds me a lot of early 90s rock bands, with the hazy tones giving off the breezy vibe that is well welcomed - especially that where I am is a bit gloomy today. Once the track bursts into life there is a wall of guitar that even the likes of Oasis would be proud to call their own, and backed up with a strong set of drums this track is going to be filling up your ears with plenty of serotonin-fueled sounds.
The switching between tempos, the way John changes his vocal tones and the soaring guitar (which I loved) in the latter half of the track all combine together to give you a cut that feels like it's above the rest. You can also check out his previous tunes on his BandCamp page here.
