Hailing from Upstate New York is Head Sound, and just last week saw the band share their new single, "Home". The new cut is their third of the year and is a continuation of the sound that's got them here, and also a flavour of what their debut 'demos' EP was all about.
The whole track is filled with this soaring and cinematic guitar that feels like it's touching the heavens.
Coming in at a mighty six minutes long the track will take you in with open arms and will give you a soft pillow to lean upon. The dreamy guitars are simply dazzling, and even on the intro alone I felt like I was going to enjoy this.
Vocally I got reminded a little bit of Noel Gallagher mixed with more aerated tones similar to that of Cigarettes After Sex, a strange combo if you haven't listened to the track but it honestly felt like this to me on the first play. The whole track is filled with this soaring and cinematic guitar that feels like it's touching the heavens, they could be huge!
