Hotel Mira drop their exciting new EP, "I Am Not Much Help"

The amazing Hotel Mira last month dropped their exciting new EP, "I Am Not Much Help", and if you're new here then my goodness what an introduction you're about to have - I'd love to listen to these guys for the first time again!

The opening tune is "The View From The Barstool" and it's possibly the best track of the bunch to kick things off with its upbeat sound and dance-friendly beats. In short, it's a sun-kissed indie-banger! The following track is "Oh Sunshine", and this for me at least was a newbie, with some guitar tones that remind me a lot of Weezer in places with the vocals suggesting this is a key track they'd be performing in live shows, with plenty of moments to sing-along to!

Heading into the remaining two tracks "Verona" is more of a slower track, and with the hazy vocal tones, the track is once again a nice slice of nostalgia for me with it reminding me slightly of Pulp and those mid-late 90s Brit-Rock bands. I don't get how these guys are still a 'small' band, they deserve to be playing in the biggest venues all over the world. Yes, yes, I know there is one track left, and it's one that showcases how tender the band can be, with this being the song they dropped off the back off a solid campaign in SXSW.

So I guess the Tl;dr of this is - Hotel Mira? Yeah man, I was into them before they were huge!
