South Carolina's Infinitefreefall just last week shared their incredibly dreamy new single, "Desecrated Landscape". The outfit rose to fame back in 2015 with a remix of St. South's track "Get Good", and since then the quartet has gone on to release a smattering of tracks that's got them over 350k streams on their own material.
it's a smorgasbord of sounds that we feel will get them plenty of attention
With that all in mind we headed into "Desecrated Landscape" expecting something outlandish, but what we listened to was an experimental dream-pop track that gave me big vibes of Everything Everything, Foals and Big Thief.
Vocally strong, the track is driven with the frantic drumbeat and all the while it's backed up with a hazy guitar underpinning it giving fans across the indie spectrum plenty to love. We've got nods to surf, dream-pop, art-rock and post-punk, it's a smorgasbord of sounds that we feel will get them plenty of attention (once again).
