Public Health reveals their smooth new tune, "Heal"

Public Health revealed their smooth and jangly new track, "Heal" last week. The track is part of a three-track release titled "Pain Girl" and is the closer on the release, but for me, it sounds like they wanted to leave this one to the end of the release to give the listener that 'pining for more' feel.

"Heal" is filled with hazy tones and nostalgic riffs, definitely a track you can get stuck into on the first listen.

The track comes in at close to five minutes long, but it feels almost like it went by in the blink of an eye. The dreamy guitar sounds at the start reminded me a lot of those dream-pop sounds in the early 90s, and the vocals gave me strong tones of surf-pop band JAWS.

The Philadelphia-based project is more or less the solo project of Alex Moxam, and I have to say it's phenomenal what he has managed to crate. With support slots for the likes of Wild Nothing and JW Francis it's also refreshing to see a solo artist actually performing live, and especially to crowds that'll appreciate his sounds.  "Heal" is filled with hazy tones and nostalgic riffs, definitely a track you can get stuck into on the first listen.
