Talking Violet unveils the nostalgic new single, "Scatterbrains"

Back with their third outing of the year is Talking Violet with the dreamy new cut, "Scatterbrains". The new tune from the Canadian quartet sounds like it has been cherry-picked from the mid-1990s with an infusion of vocal tones that can get any casual listener turned into a fan within moments.

A blend of Wolf Alice with the sweet tones of The Cranberries.

The levels of dreamy vocals on this remind me a lot of Wolf Alice, but with the sweet tones mixed in with The Cranberries. The tempo of the track is perfect for a live audience too, with the beats ensuring that you'll at least be tapping your feet as the driving bass will be wobbling your head in twine.

"Everything At Once" was produced by Justin Meli and recorded at 80A Studios at Universal Music Canada in Toronto, so if you're scratching your head as to why this sounds so polished it may be because of that.

So please do head down to check them out, and even though their first major release was out in 2018 we feel like the band now has the catalogue to be a big hitter in their scene.
