Back with their fourth outing of the year is The Harbours with their big new cut, "Locked In".
As soon as we kick off the track we're already heading into it with a hearty bassline and a frantic drumbeat, with it setting us up for one heck of a first verse.
... plenty of sounds that anyone who grew up with Indie-Rock in the late 2010's would love.
Vocally on this track, I get warm fuzzy memories of The Maccabees and Circa Waves, with playful guitar bursts added in to give this track that festival-ready feel.
"Locked In" has a real drive within, the drums help you with getting your head into a good-old bop, but when the chorus comes it's filled with plenty of sounds that anyone who grew up with Indie-Rock in the late 2010's would love.
The energetic guitar bursts mixed in with an additive bassline act almost like a drug to me, I want more! If you loved this track like we did be sure to check out their previous three singles over on Spotify!
