myah releases the retro-sounding single, "the lobby"

Back with their ninth single of the year is myah with "the lobby". The latest offering from the Californa-based artist is a clearcut alt-pop bop with some strong vocal hooks.

... a clearcut alt-pop bop with some strong vocal hooks.

Right from the get-go there is this smooth and somewhat jazzy vibe going on, with a simple beat and an acoustic guitar producing a great base for myah's sizzling vocals. As the track passes on by it evolves right before your eyes, with the single getting rather 'rock' at the chorus, feeling at times like a Avril Lavinge tune.

I also get a bit of a 90s pop feeling with this, but with those vibes flowing through my head, I felt like I was with an artist I've been listening to for years. The simplistic approach to the song has worked wonders, so if you want to dip your toe into a new artist with potential be sure to check out myah.
