heavy wild drops the moody new tune, "Truelove Deathwish"

Coming right out of the hazy scene in London is heavy wild and their epic new cut, "Truelove Deathwish". The single is their sixth to be released since they first started dropping music back in late 2022, and it sounds like they've really nailed down their sound.
Moody, atmospheric with a delicious nostalgic sheen.

heavy wild's new tune, "Truelove Deathwish", opens up with a rather basic intro of a tambourine and a scorched guitar in the background, but as you'll find out the track has a way of evolving right before you. The echoing vocals remind me a lot of Wu Lyf or even The Cure, and the way that the main guitar sound comes at you, it's very much a retro 1980s sort of feel.

The addition of some high-tone synths is a welcome sight, as I felt like it gave a shimmer of light in what could be considered a dark-pop tune. The lo-fi nature of the track is not to be overlooked here too, and was a big reason I headed into their older tunes when this finished.
