Kyle and the Juggernaut reveals their nostalgic new tune, "The Passenger Seat"

Like most bands based out of Bristol Kyle and the Juggernaut follow the same trend, very good even though they're rather unknown to the rest of the country, and their new track "The Passenger Seat" is a fine example of their sound.

With plenty of throwback sounds for me this is heading right into my liked tunes and will sure to be one of those unskippable tracks when it comes on next!

The scorching guitars at the start of the song gave me massive late 2000s indie-rock vibes, and when the mixture of female/male vocals came in there was a big throwback to the time I was watching Los Campesinos! in a field somewhere.

Much like that band mentioned above, the sound of this new single is up there with the very best in the genre. "The Passenger Seat" has come charging moments that will have a venue of people jumping up and down, and then all of a sudden there's a big ringing out of guitar that brings back memories of "Little Thoguhts" by Bloc Party.

Speaking of the song the band say - "It feels like a teenage moment. The sort that you shed as you emerge into adult life and become more comfortable in your own skin but sometimes those feelings kick around a lot longer than they should." With plenty of throwback sounds for me (a 35 year-old) this is heading right into my liked tunes and will sure to be one of those unskippable tracks when it comes on next!
