N33T today has released their brand new album, "All the things I couldn't change", and the standout track for us is the dreamy and electronically inclined tune "insecure". One thing that hit me from the off was how much this reminds me of the best music from 2016, more specifically The 1975's second album!
Nostalgic and fresh simultaneously, a wonderful track to sink into.
The sounds on there was exactly what I needed at that time of my life, and the sounds on this are very similar. Vocally it's very clean with vocals that can easily get you singing along rather easily. It's laced with dreamy bursts of indie-pop guitars upon a very danceable drumbeat.
Of course, the backing vocals are a bit on the autotune side of things, but that just helps to give the song that added dimension. We also loved the guitar solo in the final third, ultimately giving us that urge to check out the rest of the album!
