Ever since Middle Monster dropped their viral tune "In The Clouds" back in 2021 they've been riding high, and the new single "No More Birthdays" has been released. The new single came out at the tail end of 2024, but for me, this is a tune in heavy rotation since the turn of the year.

No More Birthdays" has got a very charming underlining guitar chiming away that gave us nostalgic memories of early Bloc Party and The Smiths. It's full of rich melodies and the lyrics explore the fear of change and the struggle to be yourself.
It's a very powerful track that we loved from the first listen, and from my notes on the first listen I loved how the song finished with a fading of guitar sounds giving me those mid-2000s indie-rock vibes. The Brooklyn-based act is certainly one to keep an eye on!
