London-based Cherry has recently dropped the video for their strong new cut, "Alaska". The new single is just their second-ever, but based on our first listen, we honestly thought they're a handful of albums deep into their career as it's so cohesive.
... a dreamy, Cranberries-esque gem with a timeless feel, paired with a beautifully nostalgic video by director Ben Pierce.
If you love the sounds of The Cranberries then Cherry I may just be the band that you've been looking for to get stuck into.
The visual of the song compliments it tremendously, with an opaque colour to it and plenty of retro-filters applied. The music video was filmed by upcoming director Ben Pierce and is no doubt going to be one that he will always look back on fondly.
"Alaska" sounds like the kind of track that will be a timeless piece, so be sure to get stuck in before you can't get tickets for their shows!
