Following a duo of singles released last year, Flavor Wave are hitting 2025 big with their new single, "Motivation". Almost from the get-go, the track gives you this warm feeling of summer; a combination of jazzy guitars, a sexy bassline, and soulful vocals really paints the picture.
... a funk-infused, summer-ready jam that’s impossible to resist.
It won't be long before you feel your body popping along to this, and when the chorus hits, it's almost like a funkier version of the sound the Red Hot Chili Peppers are known for.
The more delicate latter third of the track, to me acted as the concrete evidence we need to delve into their back catalogue, and with that thought, we feel like this is the perfect track to get into the band with.
