Heidi Eldest unveils her dreamy debut, "Come On Baby"

Birmingham-based singer-songwriter Heidi Eldest has today released her brand new single, "Come On Baby". The cut from the artist is her debut effort, but based on the first listen alone, you'd half expect her to have a few albums out already; it's that good.
... a shimmering dream-pop gem that feels like an instant classic.

You enter the song with a big percussive section shortly followed by a jangly guitar, all the while backed up with a delightfully warm bass. Vocally, she's dreamy as the best in the genre, and when the track all comes together, it's a classic Dream-Pop cut with added shimmer.

Birmingham a few years ago was a hub for surf/dream-pop bands, and this sounds like the reemergence of the sound; it's honestly sensational and gave me tones of early JAWS and Swim Deep, especially with the level of production behind it.
