Hailing from Vermont in the USA it's Jack O’ The Clock , and just last month saw the outfit release their new single, "Another Sunny Day/Star of Monster". The new offering may seem like it's an AA-side single, but don't let the name fool you. The track is less than three minutes long, but in that time you'll have plenty of moments to get acquainted with the American band.
... a country-tinged whirlwind with Beatles-esque vocals and a hint of Irish charm.
It opens up with a deliciously glitchy moment before some scorched country-tinted guitars come sliding by. For me, this feels very sun-kissed, especially with the harmonica bringing those late-June evening feels. Vocally, it's somewhat psychedelic with tones that wouldn't feel out of place on a track by The Beatles. Be sure to keep an ear out for some rather Irish sounds in the latter third, as it more or less sealed the deal for us!
It's quite the listen, and if you love this then be sure to check out their new album from which this song is lifted!
