Cincinnati's Catlea is back with their bold new single, "Why Them?". It's a sizzler of a rock tune from the get-go, there's this crunchy guitar tone soaked in fuzz, and as soon as the vocals come in it'll have you won over.
... a fuzz-soaked rock powerhouse with booming drums, stunning vocals, and an anthemic chorus.
To think that the track can't get better than this may be foolish, as it certainly does. Once those bigger and booming drums come by, it's even more whole, and the chorus for me is when the track edges its way into my heavy rotation playlist.
The epic new single is lifted from Catlea's forthcoming album, "Language Barrier", which is no doubt going to be one of those albums of the year contenders (based off this track and its previous single). It's powerful, infectious and with stunning vocals, this is a track you need to listen to before it blows up and goes viral.
