Based in Portsmouth on the south coast of England, it's Fast Trains with their nostalgic new cut, "Where the Ocean Greets the Sun". From the outset we got big Britpop vibes, mainly from the likes of Oasis and The Verve, but with more wallowing guitar tones that the likes of Stereophonics are known for.
... a Britpop-soaked beauty.
The track has moments of acoustic bliss, too, which really lets the vocals shine brightly. Yes, the track has incredibly big instrumental moments, like the chorus where the main guitar bursts into your ears with sonic bliss.
With support already from BBC Introducing and Amazing Radio, Fast Trains is looking to be the next act to break from the underrated scene in Portsmouth; who knows, they may be performing on the stages at Victorious Festival one day!
