A big favourite of ours at the site is KaiserKillers, and the Colchester-based outfit recently released yet another classic tune, "Heavenly in Black."

... a ferocious, hook-packed punk banger that’s equal parts dancefloor fire and mid-2000s rock revival.
The new cut is once more a shining beacon of a tune coming out of my home county, and the song sounds like it could easily be their best of the year, as it's filled with hooks. The drums are ferocious, and when you add in those vibrant bursts of guitars, it becomes more than just a punk song; it's danceable and has a serious pulse to it.
For me, a highlight of the cut was that aforementioned guitar, the more high-toned one, as it gave me tones of the mid-2000s rock scene in the UK, while also sounding like something that The Clash would create if they were still putting out songs. Think Franz Ferdinand vs The Clash, and you're there!
