Lexytron returns with the exciting new tune, "Kiss Me Quick"

New Zealand-based artist Lexytron is back with her first release since her 2020 album, "Something Blue. The new single, titled "Kiss Me Quick", has now dropped, and as far as I'm concerned, it sounds like it was worth the wait.

...  a genre-blending blast of indie nostalgia.

The single is enriched with a deep vocal tone that is present with the track, and with those RnB/rap beats, it adds plenty more depth to what then turns into an out-and-out indie banger.

If you strip back the track to the core trio of instruments – bass, guitar and drums – it could easily feel like you're in the early 2000s with how it made me feel.

Towards the latter point in the track, I felt like this was a blend of Blondie, The Cranberries and The Cure. The sounds on "Kiss Me Quick" are ready to take you on a nostalgic trip, and not just one trip as this cut is incredibly infectious!
