Concrete Club drops the relatable cut, "Paycheck to Paycheck"

Hailing from Manchester in England, it's Concrete Club with their new tune, "Paycheck to Paycheck". The song title is one that most of the nation can sadly understand; I do too, as my mortgage feels like this sometimes.

... a jangly, danceable indie gem—fresh, nostalgic, and ready for your next sing-along.

The track is laced with dreamy guitars that jangle away with some crooning backing vocals, giving you plenty of opportunities to love this. The main vocals remind me of the peak 'Fifa Soundtrack' era around 2007-2014, with the voice reminding me personally of The Departure.

The fact that this song feels so fresh and nostalgic at the same time is a testament to how well Concrete Club can write their music. It's frantic with lots of danceable drum patterns with vocals that you can easily sing-along to on the second play (easily). Since the release of their 2024 single "Riverswimmin'", they've been doing really well, so be sure to delve into their older tunes too.
