Hoxsey shares the nostalgic new tune, "Over The Mornings New Moon"

Hoxsey are based out of Austin, TX and they've recently revealed their nostalgic-sounding new tune, "Over The Mornings New Moon". Speaking of the song the act says - " ... "Over The Mornings New Moon," is a poignant reflection on life's transitions and personal growth."

... a tender, Britpop-soaked anthem echoing The Verve, Oasis, and early Bowie with raw heart.

One thing from my initial notes from the first play was 'britpop and 90s-rock', and to be honest I feel like this sound can easily sit alongside the very best British Rock from the 1990s and not stick out. It's very The Verve, Oasis and with lashings of acoustic sounds to keep it rooted.

Vocally, it's tender and urgent at the same time, with the vocalist reminding me a lot of The Manic Street Preachers' earlier work with hints of David Bowie too, so do be sure to give this a listen to before it's everywhere.
