Nathaniel Paul returns with his new track, "Pills"

We've had Nathaniel Paul on the website before, and for good reasons too, as the Brooklyn singer-songwriter crafts stunning song after stunning song without dip in quality.

... an art-pop gem laced with lush strings, synth shimmer, and buttery bass.

He's today released the new track, "Pills", and it's a bit more upbeat than you'd expect based on his previous tracks. There's a lovely Art-Pop undertone and classical string moments in this, with a nice sweeping synth sound adding in more glistening tones.

Vocally, it's as strong as ever, with this one offering yet more raw tones that'll have you wanting more. If you did want more, then there's good news as this is a part of his forthcoming album, due out later this year. Be sure to stick around for the latter third as it's such a bop, the bass in this section melts into the higher guitar sounds like a hot knife on butter – so satisfying.
