Rabauw return with the new single, "Volgende Eik"

Hailing from the Netherlands, it's Rabauw, and the outfit has recently returned with the new single, "Volgende Eik". Once more, this is a Dutch-language song, but it clearly crossed the boundaries of linguistics as we thoroughly loved this, even on the first play.

... grungey, groovy, and packed with Flea-style bass-driven energy.

It's the third track from the band this year, and this one kicks off right into the core of things with a bold opening sequence that'll have you bouncing along. Vocally, it's dominant, with some solid vocal effects added into the mix alongside some anthemic backing vox too.

The way this feels to me is almost like a more grunge and punk-oriented sound mixed with funky bass slaps that you'd find Flea from Red Hot Chilli Peppers doing on occasion. With a collection of singles already out, the band is now focusing on getting their album out - on vinyl too - later this month, so if you like the vibe fo this, there's a whole LP lined up for you!
