Heading out of the Liverpool scene with their new offering, it's RISE with the retro-infused new tune, "Dreams". I say retro as one of the first thoughts I had of the song (even on the very first play) was Van Halen's "Jump", it really took me back to the era of my life where I was discovering loads of older gems.
... sun-soaked synths, soaring vocals, and pure feel-good nostalgia.
"Dreams", to me, gives me that warm feeling of being young and without any worries, it gives me that happy feeling that only comes with being in the back of the family car on a sunny Saturday heading to the beach.
Vocally, it's atmospheric with tones that can grip the biggest of crowds, and when you combine that with the synth-rock lead tones, it becomes the type of song you'll want to listen to again as soon as it finishes. With hundreds of thousands of plays on their tunes already, I can easily see RISE getting even bigger with this release, so get on board!
