If you're looking for some cinematic electro-pop that teeters on the realm of dark-pop, then Antoin Gibson's epic new single "Vessel of the Loveless" is for you.
... a cinematic electro-pop gem with dark-pop undercurrents, blending Grimes-like production with haunting vocal hooks that prove she’s one to watch far beyond London.
On the first listen alone, I knew that the track was going to resonate with me, and I guess it's the sheer level of production on the song that helps. It's got sweeping percussive beats mixed along with sweet vocal melodies that grip you, all the while with this dark-pop underbelly that'll have you hooked on for dear life.
The track also reminds me a lot of Grimes, Purity Ring and even Poppy, with the pop sheen unmistakably there throughout.
With this being Antoin Gibson's third release since going solo, we feel like if she keeps up relating songs to this calibre, her name may be on the lips of everyone, not just in London, but the whole country!
