Based out of Swansea in Wales, it's singer-songwriter Catherine Elms with her new single, "Brutal Heart". The new track is released today and is just her second since her EP, "ARCANA", came out back in 2023

... a powerhouse rock anthem bursting with thunderous guitars and vocals that channel Wolf Alice with a fierce edge—turn it up, but maybe warn your speakers first.
"Brutal Heart" is rather similar in some senses to her previous track, with the vocals sounding just as powerful as before. What we have in terms of the overall sound is one hecking-big track that's filled with some incredibly chunky guitar and bass tones, to the point where if you crank this up to full volume it may cripple your speakers it's so big.
Catherine's vocals remind me a lot of Wolf Alice mixed with elements of Blondie and Yonaka, they're powerful, perfect for a massive rock anthem and can easily grip you on the first play.
