With a solid amount of releases to their name, Flavor Wave are back with their new single, "Sad Songs on the Radio". The new cut from the Pennsylvania-based quintet sounds (to me at least) like this is going to go down as one of their all-time songs. The type that they'll be coming back to time and time again to perform live.

... a dreamy, guitar-laced indie gem that feels destined to be a live favourite and a defining track in their catalogue.
The new single opens up with this breezy and dreamy guitar tone, before some hazy vocals come in and join the proceedings. This is a sound I loved for a solid two years back in the mid-'10s, and it sounds like it is coming back, with Flavor Wave flying the flag high for the USA.
It's rather upbeat in places with sweet vocal melodies adding those extra layers that help to give "Sad Songs on the Radio" an abundance of depth.
