The Nashville flavour on the song is very recognisable as the smooth sliding guitars work effortlessly with his vocals, and even from the very outset, you can hear how warm the song is too. You can really hear the retro tones on this, giving me a big nostalgic taste of the early 90s, especially for me, as my parents used to listen to a lot of 'Americana' music in the car when I was young.
One cool thing from the press kit that I want to mention is that it features the Fender Jazzmaster famously owned by Jimi Hendrix during his short stint with the Isley brothers, so there's even a slice of music history in this track!
With hazy vocals, smooth guitar tones and a percussive section that'll have you hooked from the start, this song really has it all, so get lost in it and be sure to check out his older tunes too.
