San Francisco-based Towse released her new single a few weeks back, "Stay On The Road", and it is a right bop of a song. The track has this real gritty feel with country sounds blended with dashes of folk strings and with some stunning vocals that reminded me of some 90s Americana I use to listen to in my parents' car.
... a gritty, feel-good country-folk bop with 90s Americana vibes and a chorus that’ll have your soul smiling and your feet stomping.
The nostalgic vibes for me were strong on this, and with the re-emergence of the Country/Roots scene here in the UK, I can see a lot of people being into this way before the halfway point of the first listen.
"Stray On The Road" is infectiously upbeat, and with that chorus getting us foot-stomping within moments of it turning up, I feel like I have a smile deep inside my soul, so if you need a feel-good track to boost your mood, make it Towse's new offering!
