Jeremy Ryan reveals the nostalgic new single, "Smile & Wave"

At the start of the year, Cohutta-based singer-songwriter Jeremy Ryan started releasing his tunes, and since then a quintet of singles have been released. One of those songs is "Smile & Wave", and that for us is one of his best cuts. Speaking about the track, Jeremy says - " ... "Smile & Wave" was born out of a personal journey of overcoming self-doubt and embracing authenticity."

... a standout alt-rock gem blending 80s guitar charm with late-90s UK indie vibes.

The tune starts off with this clean guitar that brings back those smooth sounds from the 1980s, think Dire Straits mixed in with The Smiths. Vocally, Jeremy has this sound that's part tender and part urgent, but with that Southern twang of his coming through in a perfect amount.

It's a very direct track with some Alt-Rock tones that were massive in the UK during the late 1990s, so it's safe to say that Ryan has quite the taste in music if this is what he writes. With four more songs to delve into, be sure to spend some time with this solid emerging artist, and if you're local to him, be sure to check out his page for possible shows (I'd love to see him sing in person and do those epic sun-drenched riffs).
