Based out of Seattle is Shake Some Action! and just last month saw the band release their new album, "Top Gear". One of the highlights of the LP is the cut, "Spend Your Days in the Sunshine", and that's what we're focusing on today.

... a jangly Britpop burst from Seattle, blending Beach Boys warmth with 90s indie swagger — a sun-soaked anthem that hits 100 from the first note.

The track, for me, is one of those indie anthems that bursts out of the blocks like a whippet at the races; it doesn't hang about and goes to 100 in an instant.
What I especially loved about this song is that it's breezy and has a touch of that 90s British charm about it, and considering that the scene in Washington state is known for grunge, it's really refreshing hearing something so jangly, bright, upbeat, and wholesome.
The vocals are a delight and give off Beach Boys tones mixed in with Britpop charm; think of Cast and Noel Gallagher's solo material, and you're not far off how this sounds. Me being me, I loved this. Britpop is such a vibe these days, so be sure to delve into it asap!
