The LA-based act known as CATSINGTON has once again released a solid new alt-pop cut, this time it's called "enough is enough" and really showcases the amount of skill they have, whether it be production or performing.
... a quirky, lo-fi alt-pop anthem of self-acceptance layered with crisp guitars, punchy percussion, and inventive synth textures.
Right from the off, I had some Glass Animals and Alt-J sounds flowing around my head, and those quirky sounds are on the song throughout. "enough is enough" has a delightful amount of acoustic sounds on this too, from the clean and crisp guitar sounds to some punchy percussive noises.
It's very layered with lo-fi textures to synths and that aforementioned alt-pop quirk. At its core, it's an anthem of self-acceptance—pushing back against societal pressures and celebrating the beauty of authenticity. With this being just their fourth song to be ever released, we feel like this is just the beginning, so give them a follow asap!
