Lifted off Rick Lockwood's new album, "My Own Kind of Normal", is the standout tune "Another Radio Tune". The track is for me the centrepiece of the album and acts as a perfect gateway into the whole release in general.
The smooth, country-leaning track is filled with a warm blend of alt-country, alt-folk, and some nods to Americana, carried by a soft, organic band sound. Hailing from Monument Beach, MA, Rick has made a track that'll catch your ears right from the get-go, and the sliding guitar sounds will be sure to get any casual listener leaning in more than they expected (trust me).
It's breezy, easygoing and filled with beautiful vocal structures and some soulful lyrics that have purpose — proceeds from this single and the album will go towards supporting veterans returning from active duty.
