Hailing out of Los Angeles in California is VANNGO, and just a week ago the singer-sognwriter shared the new single, "Rearview Flames", and not to spoil the review already but this is such a cosy folk-come-country track that's perfect for a cosy evening around a fire!
... a raw, cinematic folk-country slow-burn, driven by soulful vocals, acoustic warmth, and a soaring harmonica glow.
The stripped back tune is very raw from the geto-go with some insanely addictive vocal tones backed up with delightful smattering of acoustic guitar. The track has this great underlyining country feel to it, and when the harmonica comes in it really takes the track up a notch or two.
"Rearview Flames" is very cinematic, especially with some of the vocal effects that are heard within it, and with this being his fifth song of the year, you can easily get stuck into plenty more tunes like this when you're finished - more great songs await.
