Vienna-based Whooligans have recently dropped their gritty new alt-rock cut, "Losing Control". Even though the act is based out of Vienna, I feel this big stench of 90s rock behind it, reminding me of the peak of the era when Oasis were dominating the airwaves.
... a snarling two-minute alt-rock blast that blends Oasis swagger with Arctic Monkeys grit.
Vocally huge, and with some guitar parts that would not sound out of place of an Arctic Monkeys song, it's down to earth and sharp with plenty of hooks to keep you engaged. Speaking of the song, Stefan (aka Wholligans) says - " ... a restless dive into the chaos of love, the fragility of self, and the moments where you give in to the fire just to feel alive."
Even though the track is just a touch over two minutes long it'll certainly have you wanting more. The song doesn't play; it growls more, so get this in your ears as soon as possible.
