Hailing from Bratislava is Mars_999, and the artist has returned to the pages of It's All Indie with his new single, "Prizraky v Tmach". The sound is very familiar to those who checked out his previous effort, with this one showcasing more of the synthy sounds that got us swooning.
... a hypnotic, analogue-driven dark-pop gem that drifts through shadowy synthscapes and easily transcends language barriers.
"Prízraky v Tmách" is obviously in his native tongue, but the sounds and lyrics can easily transcend any language barrier. It feels to me like we're drifting through shadowy synthscapes with a hypnotic pull, similar to that of Tame Impala's newest work.
Produced with Rohin Brown at Faust Studio, it is written seemingly for fans of Depeche Mode amongst others, and with this analogue sound resonating through your ears throughout the duration, I'm sure this can easily find it's way into your playlists well before the track finishes.
