You can hear the beeps of a hospital monitor in the intro, setting up the mood for the rest of the track. It's one of those waltzing folk tracks with a sweet underbelly of folk guitar tones to balance off the darkness.
Vocally it's angelic with some deeper and brooding backing vocals that really get layered up, which ensures that you'll be playing this non-stop on your way to discovering more great moments in the song.
Produced with Dani Macchi and featuring John O’Reilly Jr. on drums, the song balances plenty of genres perfectly, a fitting addition to the Detroit indie-folk scene.
