We've got the new track from Seán R. McLaughlin & The Wind-Up Crows today, as the act has recently unveiled their new indie-folk gem, "Union Street".
... a cinematic indie-folk gem with playful Beatles-esque guitars.
The new cut, "Union Street", is a delightful gem of a song that'll be close to your heart way before the vocals come in. I got great memories of "Here Comes The Sun" by The Beatles when the track started, as the playful guitars are just as good as the classic effort from 1969.
I always admire Scottish acts who sing in their own accent, with Biffy Clyro, Twin Atlantic and Gerry Cinnamon being a few to name, and this act is another to add to the list that can have you singing along in no time. "Union Street" is so cinematic and so fresh, and with some Americana and indie rock thrown in for good measure, this is going to go down a treat for any who listens.
You may notice the track will not be found on Spotify, as this will be an exclusive on BandCamp, so be sure to support them there if you like this!
