Northern Ireland’s Taylor Lally has returned with her catchy new tune, "Yabadabadooda". The new tune is the second track on the single of the same name, and it's a clear-cut lo-fi pop gem that is utterly irresistible from the get-go.
... a lo-fi pop gem with addictive hooks and vocals reminiscent of peak Lily Allen.
For me the chorus is where the song comes to life, and wih the track being produced by Ian Barter (Amy Winehouse, Paloma Faith, Dermot Kennedy) it's no wonder it flows deep into your ears, getting you addcited every second that ticks by.
We're reminded of peak Lily Allen here with her lyricism and the way her vocals come across. It's a shining example of her vocal talent here, showcasing why she is an artist that needs to be kept an eye on in Belfast. If you like "Yabadabadooda" then be sure to check out the other track on the release (and her last album too!).
