Bromsgrove's rising alt-rock outfit Split Second have recently delivered a massive and glittering burst of rock with their new tune, "I Wanna Hear It From You."
... a Radio X–backed, hook-stacked anthem marking them as one of the UK’s hottest new bands to watch.
The track was premiered on Radio X by John Kennedy - so even before we pressed play, we knew it would be worth our time! - and it's filled with infectious hooks, ghostly tones, and vocals that you can easily see thousands of people chanting back at them.
The vocals are rather dynamic Blondie's pop finesse and Fleetwood Mac's timeless mood and warmth.
It's great to see young bands that sound polished and yet with a raw underpinning. With some big numbers on their streams and on their social accounts, it looks like this lot are ones that'll be hot on people's lips in the coming months.
