Tampa-based rock outfit Akin to Fire have recently ignited our ears with their soaring new rock cut, "Daredevil".
... a powerful, cinematic alt-rock anthem that revives 2000s nostalgia with a modern, fiery edge.
The new song is just their second single and is fueled by a wall of guitars, and even on the intro, you can hear a very nostalgic sound that brings back the vibes of the 2000s rock scene. The vocalist on the track is very powerful, with his vocals reminding me of my early teen years when I was listening to the best alt-rock tracks going.
It's crazy to think this is just the band's second-ever single, as it sounds so full, complete and well-rounded. It's got this great cinematic feel, which really boosts the atmospheric sounds that are swirling. Akin to Fire are here, and they're proving they're not just reviving the sound, but rather taking it and bringing it to 2025 with a polished sound alongside it.
