Los Angeles-based CATSINGTON is back and they've recently revealed their alt-rock talent on "no we know".
... a quirky, lo-fi alt-rock track dripping with atmosphere and 90s-inspired charm.
The sixth song this year from the outfit is more of the same energetic sounds mixed with unique sounds that'll leave a long-lasting impression on you. It's very quirky, and for me especially, it gave me little reminders of Squeeze. It's laced with lo-fi guitars with hazy echoes on it, all the while with a scorched guitar backing it up.
The vocals are a bit on the haunting side, but that just gives it big amounts of atmosphere, and plenty more opportunities for you to get stuck into the song. From the sounds of 90's Beck and The Flaming Lips, CATSINGTON is sure to go down as a pioneer on their local scene if they keep on making bespoke tracks like this.
